Mikel Arteta’s side edged the victory at the Emirates Stadium as Bukayo Saka’s penalty in the 76th minute settled a thrilling match.
But during the second half, referee Michael Oliver went over to the touchline to speak with both Klopp and Arteta.
When pressed on the incident after the game, both Klopp and Arteta refused to elaborate.
But the FA announced on Sunday evening that it is now reviewing the incident with Olivier and his match officials.
A statement from the FA on Sunday evening read: ‘We are aware of an incident that took place during the match between Arsenal and Liverpool.
‘We are in dialogue with the match officials and will review the details of the incident.’

When asked after the game what Oliver told him during the touchline discussion, Klopp refused to answer before explaining: ‘Because I think I am not allowed.’
When asked the same question about what the referee said, Arteta replied with a smile: ‘An incident that happened that whatever happens on the pitch stays on the pitch.’
