F1 quiz: Name the 1999 Australian GP starting grid

Today, March 7, marks 23 years since Eddie Irvine clinched his first victory for Ferrari at the 1999 Australian Grand Prix.

In what would be his final season in Ferrari colours, Irvine opened the 1999 campaign with a memorable maiden win for the Scuderia and would go on to finish runner-up in the Drivers’ World Championship behind a certain McLaren driver that year.

We have given you a big helping hand with one of the drivers to line up on the grid for the 1999 season opener, question is: Can you name the other 21 drivers who took part in this race?

Remarkably, of the 22 drivers who lined up on the grid in Melbourne, only eight made it to the chequered flag.

We have stuck 10 minutes on the clock for you to see how many drivers you can name and, for your hint, we have given you the team they were racing for at the time. How kind are we?

Remember, what you see below is how the 22 drivers lined up on the starting grid, not how they finished the race.

You can submit your answers in any order and just surnames are acceptable if you are looking to save yourself some precious seconds. But, some surnames may need to be entered more than once (wink, wink).
