Eyewitness describes 'chaos' with air ambulance landing after school bus involved in 'sickening' crash

There was 'chaos' after a minibus carrying school kids and a car were involved in a 'sickening' crash on a main road in east Manchester, an eyewitness has said.

The smash happened on Kirkmanshulme Lane in the Belle Vue area of Gorton at around 3:30pm this afternoon (Wednesday). Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said a car and a 'school bus' were involved.

Emergency services raced to the scene, including the air ambulance which was seen landing in the car park of a nearby bingo hall. The fire service said they cut two people free before being handed over to the paramedics.

"They were all panicking the poor things. They were all crying. It was just chaos, people running
