Cardiff Met face Exeter University this afternoon as the Welsh side bid to keep hopes of claiming a first BUCS Super Rugby title since 2018 on track.

The semi-final clash in Topsham, Devon, kicks off at 2pm on Wednesday afternoon.

Danny Milton’s men edged rivals Cardiff University 34-33 in a thrilling encounter to reach the last four. As for their next opponents, the last time they met Cardiff Met won 36-14 in Cyncoed.

Exeter, who came from 10 points behind to beat Hartpury in their quarter-final, are without Wales lock Christian Tshiunza, Wales U20 second row Dafydd Jenkins and Wales U20 hooker Ollie Burrows, but Welsh age-grade talent Dan John starts at full-back and former Llandovery College pupil Olly White captains the hosts from the back row.
