Ex-Croatia player who knows Ivan Perisic inside out delivers exciting info for Tottenham fans
For Tottenham winger Niko Kranjcar believes his old club's new signing Ivan Perisic does not have any weaknesses.
Spurs agreed a free transfer last week for the 33-year-old Croatia international to join up at the end of his Inter Milan contract this month. Perisic will be reuniting with Antonio Conte at Tottenham, with the duo having won the Serie A title together at Inter in the 2020/21 season.
Former Spurs midfielder Kranjcar, who is four years older than Perisic, knows his compatriot well, having been as player at Hadjuk Splut when the latter was emerging from the youth system and the duo appeared together on seven occasions internationally for Croatia. When asked for the club's website what Tottenham fans can expect from their new signing, Kranjcar did not hold back.
Alessandro Bastoni and the partnership Antonio Conte wants to recreate at Tottenham next season
"Everything. I think everything that they expect and believe he will bring, they will get with him," he said. "First of all, he is joining a manager that has worked with him before and knows everything about him and vice versa, and then I don’t think there is much for him to adapt to once he has settled in with his new team-mates and the style of play that Antonio Conte wants him to play, which he is already familiar with. I really don’t think or expect he will take long to adapt to the Premier League.
