Everyone wants what one minor league baseball team put out as a hilarious tribute to the Carolina Hurricanes

I love minor league sports.

That's because, while at the top levels they're often worried about taking political stands to the point that the WNBA is like, "Meh, we're not going to slam the door on letting fellas play just yet," minor league teams have to focus on putting butts in seats. The best way to do that is with fun promotions.

So, that's what we're getting from one minor league ballclub's unintentionally — or, I think more likely, intentionally — hilarious tribute sweaters to the Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes.

The Fayetteville Woodpeckers — the Single-A affiliate of the Houston Astros — don't play too far from Raleigh, home of the Hurricanes. So, it makes sense that they would want to bathe in the warm glow of a Stanley Cup win.

And the best way to do that? This phenomenal jersey!

I know what it says.

Imagine wearing that jersey outside a 100-mile radius of Fayetteville. There's a good chance no one will have any clue why you own a hockey sweater that says "PECKERS" across the front.

And, frankly, I don't think it's anyone's business. You do you, pal.
