We didn't have much of the ball in the second half. We had to defend well against their 11. They were technically very good I felt. But we defended very well. It made it harder for them. We may have had more chances atually with 10 men than 11 at the time.s We had the ability to score and had one or two opportunities.

We've moved on from soft free kicks in this country. Referees have moved on, they've tried to change it. The referees this season have been very good and not accepted soft things but the game never got a chance to flow from the early stage.

It's an away tie, a really difficult game in Lyon but we expected that. The first leg is always a really difficult game. The game is very much to play for. At half time I'd have taken that with the way we ended the first half.

I don't know. The only thing I want to focus on is if it's a free kick on Jarrod. If it is I'd have expected VAR to check that. That's what we do in the Premier League. It's in the same phase of play.
