Everton: 'Decision' on £90m duo 'might be taken out of Toffees' hands'

If Everton had to sell one of Richarlison or Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer, the easier decision would be to sell the former, that is according to journalist Paul Brown.

Both players have been linked with exits and could look to move as the Toffees continue to struggle under Frank Lampard.

According to The Telegraph, Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin are both being eyed by rival Premier League clubs.

Newcastle United, Arsenal and Manchester United have been named specifically, with all three outfits expected to be in the market for a new striker.

The same report also mentions Jordan Pickford as a potential target for Tottenham, so Everton could be in for a really grim summer.

Lampard, however, can only worry about now. His relegation-threatened side are in dire need of points after a run of one win in nine games prior to their late victory against Newcastle on Thursday.

When it comes to the £90m-rated duo, Brown believes the easier decision is to sell Richarlison if one has to go this summer.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the Daily Star journalist said: “If they had to sell one, I would think the easier decision would be to sell Richarlison.

“It’s just I think there’ll be more interest in Calvert-Lewin, so that decision might be taken out of their hands.”

If they are in the Championship next season, then they certainly have no chance. But even if Everton remain in the Premier League, retaining the services of both Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin looks like a hard task.
