European wrap: Napoli run riot against Juventus to extend Serie A lead

Napoli extended their lead at the summit of Serie A to 10 points following a crushing 5-1 win against Juventus.

Juve headed into Friday's fixture at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona boasting eight consecutive clean sheets.

But Napoli were ahead inside just 14 minutes when Victor Osimhen headed home from close range.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia doubled Napoli's advantage before Angel Di Maria pulled one back for Juventus before the interval.

Amir Rrahmani restored the home side's two-goal advantage after the break, with Osimhen scoring his second of the night, and Eljif Elmas completing an impressive victory for Serie A's runaway leaders.

In La Liga, Villarreal were held away at Celta Vigo after Gerard Moreno's first-half strike was cancelled out by Jorgen Strand Larsen.
