Erling Haaland splashes out on two new private jets as Man City star plans next business move

Erling Haaland's image rights company spent £2.1million on two private jets last year, recently released statements show.

York Promotions bought "an interest" in not one but two aircraft, according to the firm's annual accounts made up to the end of last year. The ninth note to their unaudited financial statements states: "The company has entered into an agreement to acquire an interest in two aircraft for an amount of £2,155,342."

In 2021, Haaland and his father Alfie sold their £2million Piper M600 private jet. They now charter instead, using the same company as Ferrari's top Formula One driver Charles Leclerc.

Their accounts also highlight how it has amassed £12million in assets in its first year.

The company has £7million of cash in the bank, with nearly £7 million more in earnings deferred by a year and £5million still owed to them by brands. Haaland has deals with Nike and the luxury Swiss watchmaker Breitling, for who he is the face of their men's pieces.

The striker has also reputedly done a £2million deal with Dolce and Gabbana, becoming a brand ambassador alongside Jack Grealish. Haaland, however, is also looking to branch out into beverages, with plans to kick-start a new line of energy drinks, according to trademark documents filed in Norway's capital, Oslo.
