Erling Haaland's five transfer offers as Dortmund star faces make-or-break meeting

Erling Haaland is set to be the belle of the ball this summer with a host of European clubs chasing his signature.

Borussia Dortmund face an almighty battle to keep hold of their prized asset when a reported £68million release clause comes into effect this summer.

That will be a huge blow to the German side with the striker’s market value over double that at £135m, while their hopes in the Europa League could prove pivotal.

Elimination from the competition this week will all but decide Haaland’s future with a meeting planned this Friday, report Cadena SER.

Dortmund are facing an early exit after a shock defeat to Rangers at the Signal Iduna Park in a 4-2 drubbing.

It means Marco Rose’s side will have to overturn a two-goal deficit at Ibrox while Haaland remains out injured in a huge blow to their chances.

And there will be no shortage of suitors in the summer if the 21-year-old decides to leave in the next transfer window.

According to the report, the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are all keen on snapping up the Norway international.

Pep Guardiola stands the best chance of landing the Leeds-born ace with the Catalan coach desperate to sign a striker this summer.

But whoever convinces Haaland to make the move will have to contend with paying for Mino Raiola’s services, as well.

There have been reports that the total package could end up costing over £1m-a-week, with signing-on fees, agent fees and wages added in.

The former RB Salzburg star has been in fine form for Dortmund this season, scoring 23 times in 20 matches in all competitions.

However, injuries have somewhat stalled his progress this campaign with muscle problems and issues with his hip.
