Erik ten Hag's three Man United transfer alternatives to Michael Olise as £60m decision made

Manchester United will have to move on from Michael Olise with the Crystal Palace star choosing to join Bayern Munich.

Alongside United, both Chelsea and Newcastle had shown interest and held initial talks but as per The Athletic, Olise has decided Germany will be his destination with Bayern as his chosen club. As such, the three interested English clubs need to look elsewhere in order to improve their respective frontlines.

At Stamford Bridge, the plan remains to sign a winger and a striker while Newcastle are advancing in talks to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Everton. As for United, it is currently unclear what Erik ten Hag will do following Olise's decision, however it is likely there were a number of options being considered alongside Olise.
