Erik ten Hag named new Manchester United manager

Erik ten Hag has been named as the new manager of Manchester United.

The Dutch coach has signed a contract until the summer of 2025, with an option of another year, and he will take charge of the Red Devils at the end of the 2021-22 season.

United say the appointment is subject to work visa requirements being met, which aren’t believed to be an issue, as Erik ten Hag will take over from interim boss Ralf Ragnick.

He gives youth a chance, has incredible tactical nous and he has experience of rebuilding a club to become a contender in the UEFA Champions League.
