Erik ten Hag makes Manchester United right wing admission after Liverpool win

United manager Erik ten Hag has admitted that he wants his team to be a threat from both sides of the front-three ahead of Friday's friendly against Melbourne Victory.

United, who remain keen on strengthening their attacking options in this summer's transfer window, produced a ruthless first-half showing against arch-rivals Liverpool in Bangkok on Tuesday, racing into a three-goal lead with just over 30 minutes played. Two of their goals came via members of the front three in Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial.

Joining Marcus Rashford in attack, Sancho started on the right and Martial, in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, started through the middle. Sancho did move across to the left, while Martial also drifted out wide at times. The trio were fluid and looked comfortable in each role they were requested to fulfil.
