Erik ten Hag has just confirmed what Manchester United fans knew all along
Erik ten Hag has got off to the perfect start on the pitch as Manchester United boss, and he's also continuing to enhance his reputation off it.
Fans have been relatively pleased with the club’s summer transfer activity so far, with Lisandro Martinez following Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen through the door over the weekend.
They are putting their full trust in Ten Hag to bring the glory days back to Old Trafford after lifting just three trophies since their 2013 Premier League title triumph. Many opinions have been voiced on how United should go about climbing back up the mountain.

But club followers have been almost unanimous on four main key principles that need to be instilled by the new boss. And it seems Ten Hag agrees.
The Dutchman sat down with the press ahead of his side’s friendly with Crystal Palace on Tuesday and covered a range of topics. A large proportion of questions pulled on mentality and mindset.
United fans have been calling for higher levels of discipline within the squad. When asked about adopting a no-nonsense policy, he said: “I think one of the issues, when you want to get results, is you need a team.
"It is organisation, cooperation, and also you need discipline. When there is no discipline around you will not find it on the pitch as well. Such issues I’m quite severe.”
He spoke in a similar tune when discussing his high demands. “Sometimes you can be highly demanding because that is what we expect and we give them feedback and you believe they can do it,” he added.
“But if they don’t, why are you not acting to your standards? And that is the question I am asking the players.”
