Erik ten Hag calls for VAR discussion as he makes Marcus Rashford Manchester United admission

Manchester United are back in Premier League action today as they welcome Luton Town to Old Trafford.

The Reds have a point to prove to the fans and their manager after a demoralising defeat to FC Copenhagen in the Champions League in midweek. Ten Hag has called for Premier League managers to hold a collective discussion with PGMOL on the usage of VAR.

VAR controversies have spiked in recent weeks with hardly a game going by without contentious decisions being made with help from the video assistant. Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was vocal in his displeasure after Arsenal's defeat with Newcastle, so much so that the Gunners released a statement condemning recent refereeing decisions.

United manager Ten Hag admits Marcus Rashford is "not happy" with his form for the club.

Rashford has scored one goal in 15 games this season and he was sent off in the first half of the Champions League defeat by Copenhagen on Wednesday night. The 26-year-old was upbraided by Ten Hag last week for partying hours after the 3-0 Manchester derby defeat to Manchester City at Old Trafford.
