Emmerdale's Mandy star Lisa Riley issues scam warning after ditching UK

Emmerdale star Lisa Riley was left issuing a scam warning to her fans and followers back in the UK while she was enjoying the delights of the Big Apple. The actress recently ditched the country for New York where she has been sharing positive updates on her travels.

In one photo, Lisa, who is famed for playing Mandy Dingle in the ITV soap, could be seen alongside her partner Al, who she's been in a relationship with since 2014, as she said: "LOADS OF LOVE FROM BROOKLYN," before adding: "Celebrating 50 days to go-until our 10 year anniversary-where did the time go????"

But as she neared the end of the trip, Lisa had to take a break from sharing holiday updates and snaps to issue a warning. The soap star shared a message being sent around of Facebook claiming she is using Telegram to speak with her fans and followers.

And her fans and followers were fuming on her behalf. Former police officer-turned-Crimewatch host Rav Wilding said: "So sorry to see this, sadly lots of these celeb type scams out there doing the rounds. Hooking people in and stealing their cash. Horrid."
