Emmerdale's Lisa Riley beams with partner after saying 'how did that happen' and has love declared by co-star

Emmerdale star Lisa Riley looked happier than ever as she beamed alongside her partner Al, who she's been in a relationship with since 2014, after asking 'how did that happen?'

The actress, famed for playing Mandy Dingle in the ITV soap, was celebrating this week as she turned 47 on Thursday (July 13). Taking to Instagram on the morning of her special day, Lisa looked glamorous in a selfie showing her wearing a sparkling top.

"Stepping into my BIRTHDAY TODAY…..with a massive smile and a whole load of SPARKLE," she cheered in the caption of the post before adding: "47 TODAY, how the bloody hell did that happen?????????"

Lisa, from Bury in Greater Manchester, was celebrating while also enjoying a cruise with her partner. And her post was quickly flooded with messages from her co-stars and fans.

Meanwhile, Daisy Campbell, who has been seen forming a tight relationship on-screen with Lisa as Amelia Spencer as well as off it, took to her own Instagram to send Lisa some birthday wishes on her special day. She said: "Happy birthday to our very own princess. I love you," as they posed for a selfie in their Emmerdale dressing room.
