Emmerdale fans predict another return twist as Jamie Tate's return is 'sealed'

Emmerdale fans think Jamie Tate's return to the soap is 'sealed' - but others are predicting another major twist that'd blow his comeback out the water.

Fans of the ITV soap know former village vet Jamie is alive and well but his mum, Kim Tate, was left thinking he had died after faking his own death by driving into a lake. The character, played by Alexander Lincoln, has in fact been living away from the village with his ex-wife's mum, Hazel, who got custody of Millie after Andrea Tate died.

In Wednesday night’s episode, Emmerdale saw tension at Home Farm as Kim told Gabby Thomas that she needed to postpone her son's christening after Hazel informed her Millie wouldn't be attending as she was sick. Thinking that it'd be the only opportunity to see her granddaughter again, Kim infuriated Gabby.

In the end, after some wise words from partner Will and housekeeper Lydia, Kim related and agreed things could go ahead as planned.

However, Gabby headed off in a rush as she had a surprise in mind for Kim and headed to Hazel's to try and change her mind about Millie. After initially staying firm and continuing her claims Millie was ill, the youngster appeared to show she was fit and well leaving Hazel no choice but to agree to attend baby Thomas' christening.

And after she made a phone call telling Jamie that they had a 'problem', Emmerdale viewers were quick to assume that it signaled Jamie's comeback. @maitra_sulagna tweeted: "Is Jamie Tate coming
