Rudy Giuliani, the former New York Mayor, suggested Eminem should leave America after taking a knee during the Super Bowl halftime show during a recent broadcast.
Eminem performed alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog, 50 Cent, Mary J. Bilge and Kendrick Lamar in a massive celebration of hip hop.
Many believe it was in solidarity with former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and Giuliani is furious.
"Let's get right to Eminem taking a knee," Giuliani said during Monday's edition of 'The Rudy Giuliani Show'.
"Why doesn't he go to another country? I mean, go take a knee someplace else. You know how many cops were defending him and protecting him at that game yesterday?"
Giuliani then went on to say the NFL has made a 'mockery of law enforcement' by supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.
"There were a few things that we had to change but it was like really minor things," the 56-year-old explained.
"Em taking the knee, that was him doing that on his own and there was no problem with that."
When asked about Lamar's performance of 'Alright' he replied: "They had a problem with that so we had to take that [references to Los Angeles gangs] out - no big deal, we get it.
"All in all, everybody came in, we were professional, everybody was on time and everybody really felt the magnitude of what this thing was and what we were going to be able to accomplish and it was a fantastic experience."
Dre is a former member of the N.W.A. and caused controversy with the release of F**k Tha Police' in 1988.
He pushed back against that however and stressed he felt 'disgustingly censored' by the request.
