Emily Atack reveals popstar dad's musical background with Beyonce link

Emily Atack was a big hit on I'm a Celebrity in 2018. She finished in second place after running the gauntlet in the Australian jungle.

But many fans may not be aware that she also has famous parents. And the 32-year-old star has opened up the photo album as her musician dad Keith.

Comedian and actor Emily, who shot to fame playing Charlotte Hinchcliffe on the E4 comedy series The Inbetweeners, is not the only famous one in the family. And she wished her 'rockstar' father many happy returns as she shared throwback snaps on her Instagram.

"Happy birthday our dear papa Keith," she wrote with an adorable picture of Keith holding a baby Emily on his shoulders.

"Our favourite rockstar she wrote lovingly," with another photo of her dad performing on stage.

And with another snap of Keith and a smiling baby Emily she wrote: "We've always had a right laugh."

Emily’s dad was a member of the 1970s pop group Child with his twin Tim, a British pop group consisting of singer Graham Bilbrough, guitarist Dave Cooper, Keith on bass and Tim on drums.

After Dave left to form rock band Crash Alley and Mike Mckenzie joined on bass guitar, Keith Atack switched to guitar. Their biggest hit was a cover of the Conway Twitty song It's Only Make Believe which was a top ten hit in 1978.

Keith and Tim went on to become session musicians, backing the likes of David Cassidy, Rick Astley and Bonnie Tyler in the 1980s. They also formed a singing duo under the names Atack and The Duel.

"Always interesting googling your family," said Emily as she shared nostalgic photos of the twins from the 80s.
