Emergency services called to M4 fire

Emergency services were dealing with a vehicle fire on the M4 on Thursday afternoon. Two lanes were closed causing slow traffic due to the fire on the eastbound between junction 37 Pyle/Porthcawl and junction 36 Bridgend.

Sharing a picture of the scene on social media, Traffic Wales said: "Vehicle fire travelling on the M4 eastbound between J37 Pyle and J36 Sarn. Lane one and two are currently closed. Emergency services are on scene. Expect delays if you're in the area."

All lanes had re-opened and traffic had returned to normal by 1.10pm.
