Elite season 8 release time on Netflix confirmed as final series drops

The much-anticipated eighth season of Elite is almost upon us, but when exactly can we expect the series to drop?

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of the gripping teen drama for nearly a year, following the shocking revelation of Raoul's (Alex Pastrana) fate in season seven.

Now, the wait is nearly over as Elite prepares to return for its eighth season, promising another mysterious death at the opulent yet perilous boarding school, Las Encinas.

The eighth season of Elite is scheduled to premiere on Friday, July 26, with all eight episodes being released on Netflix simultaneously.

However, the exact time that Elite will become available will depend on your geographical location.

The new season will be released worldwide at the same time, but the specific time will vary.

For those living on the West Coast of the US, episodes will be available from midnight PST (Pacific Standard Time), while viewers on the East Coast can start watching from 3am EST (Eastern Standard Time).

Meanwhile, UK Netflix subscribers will be able to tune into Elite season eight from 8am BST (British Summer Time), with most of Europe following approximately an hour later.

Sadly, the show's return is tinged with sadness, as it has been confirmed that Elite will not be returning for a ninth season.

This decision was made by the show's creators shortly after Netflix gave the go-ahead for the latest series.

Series creator Carlos Montero has announced the conclusion of the show with a heartfelt statement: "Jaime [Vaca, co-showrunner for season 7], Netflix and I thought it was time to end it."
