Ederson addresses Man City weakness to prompt Pep Guardiola change

Anyone who thought Pep Guardiola would like anything to do with Johan Cruyff got a rude awakening on Tuesday night at the Etihad.

It turns out that your goalkeeper attempting a turn named after the Dutch master while 30 yards out of his goal with the scores in a Champions League game level does not go down well with Guardiola. The Manchester City manager looked as aghast at his 'keeper as he did himself for having told reporters the previous day about how the player had matured.

Still, everyone knows the score with Ederson by now. If he left his own manager gazing in dismayed disbelief in the second half, he had Crvena Zvezda analysts banging the desks in frustration in the first half when he cut out four players in one pass through the lines to Matheus Nunes.
