Eddie Hall gets Hafthor Bjornsson's name tattooed on his body in attempt to secure rematch

Eddie Hall has had Hafthor Bjornsson‘s name tattooed on his foot as he tries to secure a boxing rematch with his strongman rival.

The Beast, 34, suffered a unanimous decision defeat to ‘The Mountain’, 33, despite knocking him down in their Dubai dust-up earlier this year.

But the British star has stayed true to his word after promising he would get inked somewhere on his body in a bid to secure a second fight with the ex-Game of Thrones actor.

The pair had made a bet in the build-up to their fight last month that the loser would get a tattoo of the winner’s name.

And now Hall has unveiled a brand new tattoo on the side of his left foot featuring Thor’s full name with the words ‘World’s Strongest Man’ written above it.

In a video uploaded to his official Instagram account, he said: “Could you have had a longer name Thor?

“I can see the funny side of this, it is what it is and this means that down the line the rematch will happen if it is there.

“I am a man of my word and I have done something that I said I was going to do and I am looking forward to what is next.

“But at least this is not as embarrassing as being a sore loser, I can take this as a man and that’s how I see it with this and stay positive.”

But Thor has insisted that Hall will have to wait his turn before they run it back as he claimed that there are plenty of other options out there as well.

He previously said: “If you really want that rematch then I am willing to give you it but I am not signing that contract.

“You get the tattoo then we can discuss any rematch. I want to obviously fight more. Is Eddie the next fight? I don’t think so.

“I think the right way to do this is for Eddie to have some fights and for me to have some fights.
