Ed Sheeran in Cardiff live updates on travel, start times, stadium rules and everything else you need to know

Ed Sheeran is in Cardiff this week with three huge gigs at the Principality His Welsh gigs will form part of the first leg of his ‘+ - = ÷ x Tour’ (pronounced ‘The Mathematics Tour’) , taking place in stadiums throughout 2022. The tour will see him play 27 shows across the UK, Ireland, Central Europe and Scandinavia.

He will be taking over the Principality Stadium on Thursday, May, 26, Friday, May, 27 and Saturday, May, 27.You can read everything you need to know about attending the concerts from where to park to the set list here. We'll be bringing you updates as Cardiff prepares for the first show today (Thursday) as thousands of fans make their way into the city.

There will be road closures across the city centre and Great Western Railway are putting on an extra 40 plus trains to help fans travel to and from the concert. The global superstar will also be performing whatever the weather as the Principality roof will be staying open come rain or shine.

For one of the first times the Stadium will also be operating a paperless system, meaning fans will have no physical tickets and there is also an extensive and detailed list of items you can not take into the stadium- read that here.
