Ed Matthews knocked out Simple Simon just 48 seconds into their boxing match on Saturday evening.

The bout saw Simple Simon, 52, take on Matthews, 19.

There was a huge age gap between the two fighters and it showed from the bell.

Matthews was by far the dominant fighter right from the outset.

He stunned his opponent just a few seconds into the fight with a right hand.

And it was all over shortly after when Simple Simon fell to the canvas after taking a left hook to the head.
