Moses Ebiye has signed for Motherwell

Nigerian striker, Moses Ebiye, is optimistic that he would make an impact in the Scottish Premiership after signing for Motherwell on a deal until 2025.

Ebiye quit Aalesund of Norway in January, after seven years, to take another leap in his career.

He started his professional football career at NPFL club, Akwa United, before moving to Lillestrøm in Norway. He scored three goals during his time at the club and later joined HamKam. The 26-year-old banged in goals at Tromso, netting 12 goals an bagging nine assists in 43 games, before his sojourn at Aalesund in 2022.

At his unveiling, Moses Ebiye expressed his delight with the move, adding that he has been spending the past days to acquaint himself with his new teammates.

“I am very happy to have joined the club. It has been good training and getting to know the team. I hope I can make an impact in my time here,” Ebiye said.

Coach of Motherwell, Stuart Kettlewell, is happy that the club signed the Nigerian. While hailing Ebiye’s goalscoring record, the Kettlewell revealed that staff of the club worked assiduously to make the move possible.
