Ebbsfleet United manager Josh Wright delighted to turn Josh Passley’s loan from Bromley into a permanent deal
Ebbsfleet manager Josh Wright has spoken of his delight at signing Josh Passley on a permanent deal.
The wing-back joined initially on loan for the rest of the season from Football League newboys Bromley earlier this month.
But the Fleet boss has already turned that into a permanent deal with Passley extending his stay at Stonebridge Road until the end of next season.
It represents an excellent piece of business for Ebbsfleet with Passley a proven performer at National League level, let alone the division below.

“We have to protect him but Josh will be a great signing for this football club, we’re going to be very lucky to have him and I’m very pleased with that.”
Wright confirmed that it was always the intention to make the move permanent.
He added: “It was an option but it was a case to get it done quickly, the loan was the easier one but pretty much after the first few days, I wanted to turn it permanent.
“We worked on it for a week or two and got it done so I’m delighted with that one.”
Alex Lankshear (Blackpool), George Moncur (Leyton Orient), Alex Aoraha (QPR), Ryan Carr (Ipswich) and Aaron Bolger (St Patrick’s) have all moved to Stonebridge Road on loan in recent months.
Wright hasn’t ruled out the possibility of being able to turn other deals into permanent stays.
“I’m looking into it, I’m talking and we’re trying to work on stuff,” confirmed the Fleet boss.
“There’s stuff I’m looking at, possibly, with one or two of the loanees, but we’ll have to wait and see. We’re working hard behind
