Ebbsfleet United manager Josh Wright dedicates 3-1 derby success at Maidstone United to the fans after going top of National League South
Josh Wright dedicated Ebbsfleet's derby win at Maidstone to the supporters after his side went top of National League South on Tuesday night.
Fleet stretched their unbeaten start to 12 games and moved above long-time leaders United into first place following a 3-1 victory at the Gallagher Stadium.
Away fans enjoyed their night at a venue that’s been far from a happy hunting ground in recent seasons, including a 3-0 defeat last year.
Ebbsfleet led 2-0 through Camron Gbadebo’s early opener and a second-half strike from Daniel Ogunleye, before substitute Harvey Walker clinched victory in added time after Jayden Davis had pulled one back.

“They know how much they mean to me, I know how much this football club means to them.
“To come to Maidstone, who are a good side, who were top of the league for a reason and win 3-1, I’m very proud of the boys.

“That's the bare minimum, but we wanted a fast start, we had a plan, we wanted to look a
