Ebbsfleet manager Josh Wright admits they were unplayable at times during their 6-0 win at Farnborough in National League South
Ebbsfleet manager Josh Wright admitted his team were “unplayable” after romping to victory on Tuesday night.
The Fleet stuffed a disorganised Farnborough side 6-0 in National League South with another impressive display of attacking football.
Wright’s side look the real deal this season and their hosts had no answer.
“It was great,” admitted Wright. “We were maybe, I don't like to say it, unplayable at times. We were and it looked like levels tonight.
“It looked like levels, but that's just one more game. We've got to go again. We can't just do that one week and not another.
“We've shown consistency so far this season and it's down to us to continue showing that.
“But if we show that energy, endeavour, determination, desire, with the quality the group's got individually and collectively, we'll be okay.
“It's down to us to keep the foot on the gas to make sure that happens and see where that leaves us.”
The goals were again shared out with Charlie Seaman scoring twice, including a stunning free-kick, Finlay Barnes bagging a brace and Camron Gbadebo on target before substitute Dominic Samuel netted the sixth.
That’s been another impressive feature of the Fleet’s start to the campaign and Wright was also pleased with the source.
“Goals everywhere but from set plays is what really pleases me,” he claimed. “The boys do really hard work with that along with Kyri Neocleous, the goalkeeping coach, and David Kerslake (assistant manager).
“Goals come from all different places and angles. It’s great to have strikers in the goals and great to have Dom come on and score tonight as a striker.
“But I don't care who scores. I don't care if it's own goals, centre-halves, wing-backs, wingers, midfielders.
