Early Arsenal injury news ahead of Wolves showdown

Arsenal will welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Thursday evening (7:45pm kick-off).

It is another key game for both sides as they battle to secure European football next season.

The Gunners' first win of 2022 came at Molineux earlier this month, thanks to a first-half strike from centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes.

Now Wolves will be looking to make it three wins out of three in the league and leapfrog the Gunners, currently two points in front of them in sixth place.

West Ham are also two points clear of Bruno Lage's men in fifth place.

Ahead of the game, here is the early injury team news from the Arsenal camp as per Football.London...

The Japan international will be back in contention after returning to full training last week, following a calf injury.

Tomiyasu was on the bench in Arsenal's 2-1 win over Brentford but was an unused substitute.

His potential return to the line-up on Thursday will be a big boost to Arteta's top-four hopes.

"We are all good," Arteta said.

"The doubt was Tomiyasu which is still not perfect, but he's trained the last few days so he is in contention and we can use him so that's positive."

The Brazilian has served his one-match suspension against the Bees after being sent-off at Molineux.

He should be back in the squad for the midweek match.

Tierney was the only player not to be spotted in a short clip on YouTube from the Gunners' training session last week but all fears were banished after he featured the full 90 minutes against the Bees on Saturday.
