Eamonn Holmes 'falls off chair' live on GB News as viewers concerned

Eamonn Holmes sparked concern among viewers as he 'fell of chair' while hosting GB News live on Wednesday morning (May 21).

The broadcaster appeared to take a tumble off screen while Charlie Rowley was talking on the channel at 6.15am about a number of reported probes into many of England's water companies.

But concerned tweets from viewers poured in after what they saw briefly unfold on and off-screen.

One said: "What just happened to Eamonn Holmes on @GBNEWS? Big crashing sound then straight to adverts. Hope all ok."

Earlier this month, Eamonn shared how he was taken to hospital by ambulance after suffering a nasty fall. The former This Morning star shared a snap of him in the back of the rapid response vehicle having been stretchered in.

He told fans on Instagram: "An unexpected journey this morning ….. bit of a fall on the bathroom floor. Gosh it hurts. Thank you Ambulance crew."

Eamonn then updated fans alongside a photo from his hospital bed. Eamonn said: "Not how I wanted to be spending The Holiday weekend …… but life’s not easy these days . Thanks to everybody who is looking after me."
