Dyson sale knocks £100 off one of its most highly reviewed vacuums

For years, Dyson has been seen by many as the crème de la crème of vacuum cleaners. Boasting exceptionally powerful motors and a build quality that seems straight out of NASA, these vacuum cleaners are renowned for their quality - and you can currently pick one up for £229.99.

The sale is happening over on Dyson's website, where the entry level V8 Advanced model is currently selling for £100 less than the RRP of £329.99. Given Dyson's vacuums can range up to £800 for the top-spec models, saving 30% on this entry model is a bit of a bargain.

The V8 Advanced model is completely cordless, making it a breeze for running around the house for quick spring spruces. It weighs 2.54kg, so it's easy to life up when trying to get into those tricky corners.

It arrives with three different brush heads, including a motorised brush head for cleaning up floors, plus a combination tool for getting into tighter spots. There's also a long, crevice attachment that's great for reaching areas like down the back of the sofa, or my personal favourite, sucking up spiders.

Boasting a 40 minute runtime, it's more than enough time to clean a small house or a flat. However, you might struggle if you own a bigger home than this, especially as the battery takes five hours to charge back up to full.

Dyson claims that the V8 Advanced is designed with pets in mind and has implemented a de-tangling technology into its brush head. Two additional power modes are also built into the vacuum, letting you choose when you need some added oomph in your cleaning routine.
