Dying Light 2 System Requirements: What are the Minimum and Recommended Settings?

Dying Light 2 has been released worldwide on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4 and PC and there are a variety of questions regarding whether or not your PC can run it, but what are the minimum and recommended system requirements?

The zombie, free-running survival mash-up boasts some gorgeous visuals but does that mean that your computer will struggle to run the game, leading to crashes and bugs galore?

We’ve taken a look at the required specs for the game, so you can measure whether your machine will be able to handle Techland’s latest release.

Developer Techland has been incredibly thorough with their system requirements, so it’s very clear if your machine can run the game or not.

Techland have also factored in ray tracing; a technology that simulates the physical behaviour of light. The minimum specs do not include ray tracing, for obvious reasons.

These are pretty chunky specs, especially when one considers that you’ll need 60GB of hard drive space to fit the game onto your hard drive.

It’s also a fairly up to date graphics card, so you’ll need a reasonably new rig to be able to play the game.

This is not including ray-tracing, but Techland have also revealed the minimum specs you’ll need if you want to use the tech.

You’ll need an Nvidia graphics card to be able to use ray-tracing, and a pretty up to date one too.

The RTX 2070 is an expensive piece of kit, so you’ll need a pretty advanced computer to be using ray-tracing on Dying Light 2.
