Dumfries boxers take to the ring in Cowdenbeath

Two boxers from Nithvalley Boxing Club travelled up to Cowdenbeath to take on fighters from Beath Boxing Club at the weekend.

Jack Burke had three good rounds against a more experienced boxer but the home fighter got the decision at the end of the bout, however, Tyler McLean won his bout by unanimous decision.

Both lads boxed well and the club would like to thank Beath Boxing Club for their hospitality.

The club is in action again at the weekend with two boxers fighting in Ardrossan on Friday night in the IMC Project Show and on Saturday, Jack McGarva will fight in the Scotland Select v Dublin in Wishaw.
