Drive To Survive: Formula 1 announces release date for Season 4

The 2022 Formula 1 season is closing in and, amongst all the hype around the new cars, that also means that the new Drive To Survive series is about to hit Netflix.

Typically launched just before the start of the new F1 season, there’s been a great deal of excitement around the fourth series given it is set to document one of the most gripping and controversial campaigns we have seen in the sport’s history; the 2021 season.

Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton took part in a year-long duel for the world championship and it went down to the final lap of the final Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, with the Dutchman emerging victorious after the most contested of calls from Race Director Michael Masi.

Indeed, the fall-out from that is still ongoing with us waiting to see what the FIA are going to do in terms of the Race Director role but, one thing is for sure, Drive To Survive season 4 is going to be epic and we now have a release date for it:

Unfortunately, one of the key title protagonists, Max Verstappen, opted out of filming for the series after feeling as though it forced rivalries and so that may change the dynamic a little bit of what’s to come given how involved he was in the championship.
