Dr Michael Mosley post-mortem reveals time missing TV star died as foul play ruled out

A post-mortem has reportedly revealed the exact time Dr Michael Mosley died after going missing on the Greek island of Symi.

A coroner has also reportedly ruled out any 'criminal act' following the TV star's death, the Mirror reports. The 67-year-old went missing after leaving his wife Dr Clare Bailey and friends at Agios Nikolaos beach on Wednesday.

His body was then found on Sunday in a rocky area near Agia Marina beach. The tragedy sparked several theories on what happened in his final hours.

Now, a coroner in Rhodes has reportedly confirmed that he is believed to have died at 4pm on the day he disappeared. The coroner also appeared to have ruled out any foul play.

The post-mortem reportedly showed that Dr Mosley did not seem to have suffered any injuries that indicate criminal activity.

The coroner said the condition of his body has made it difficult to establish an exact cause of death. A huge search was launched last week involving police, firefighters with drones, Greek Red Cross workers, divers, a search dog and a helicopter to find Dr Mosley in dangerous conditions and high temperatures before his remains were found by a camera crew.

A statement from his wife over the weekend said: "I don't know quite where to begin with this. It's devastating to have lost Michael, my wonderful, funny, kind and brilliant husband. We had an incredibly lucky life together. We loved each other very much and were so happy
