Donny Van De Beek's Personal Highlights Vs Leeds Show How Good He Was

Donny van de Beek made his first Premier League start for Everton on Saturday against Leeds United, and his personal highlights video shows it was a very successful one for him.

The former Ajax midfielder started just four Premier League games in his first season and this season started no games in the league, for either Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or Ralf Rangnick.

In his first start for Frank Lampard's team on Saturday, the 24-year-old played in a midfield pair, alongside Allan, and had a brilliant performance in the Toffees' 3-0 win over Leeds, and his highlights video is proof of how well he played.

It was the first time that the former Ajax man had played 90 minutes in the Premier League, having been subbed off in all his starts for United, and he picked up the man of the match award.

Van de Beek also played an instrumental part in the opening goal, with his cross towards Dominic Calvert-Lewin being directed towards Seamus Coleman by Leeds midfielder Mateusz Klich, with the Irishman heading home.

The Dutch midfielder, who has recently missed out on national team squads in the lead up to this winter's World Cup, certainly impressed fans with his display, especially those who support Manchester United.

Whilst Van de Beek, and Everton, were thriving on Saturday, it was a very different proposition for his parent club, as they once again threw away a lead.
