Dimitar Berbatov's best goal? Bulgarian's ridiculous finish for Monaco v Nice in 2014

Dimitar Berbatov was an incredibly classy player.

The Bulgarian forward could do some extraordinary things with a football.

Berbatov possessed incredible technical ability and his composure was off the charts. He made the sport look so easy.

He enjoyed a successful career which saw him star for the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

In total, Berbatov scored 281 goals at club level, as well as hitting the back of the net 48 times for Bulgaria.

His best goal of his illustrious football career arguably came for Monaco.

Berbatov only played for the French club for two seasons but he made his mark during his short spell at the club.

In April 2014, Monaco welcomed Nice to Stade Louis II for their Ligue 1 clash.

Berbatov opened the scoring in outrageous fashion.

The Bulgarian, who was 33 years old at the time, produced a perfect touch to control a ball over the top.

Berbatov then looked up, let the ball bounce before finding the top corner with a brilliant lob from a tight angle.
