Diamond League: Sha'Carri Richardson sets new 100 meeting record as Dina Asher-Smith claims third spot

USA's Sha'Carri Richardson beat the late Tori Bowie's 100m record at Doha in the Diamond League as Dina Asher-Smith claimed third place. Earlier in the week Bowie, a three-time Olympic medal winner and a 100m world champion, was found dead aged 32.

Ad Richardson recorded a time of 10.76 seconds, the fastest of the year so far. Second place went to Jamaica’s Sherick Jackson, with British sprinter Asher-Smith third.
