Details confirmed for URC quarter-finals

Ulster's BKT United Rugby Championship quarter-final against Connacht has been confirmed for a Friday night fixture, while Leinster will take on Cell C Sharks at the Aviva Stadium, in a game that will be live on RTÉ television.

Ulster and Connacht will get the quarter-finals underway at Kingspan Stadium on Friday 5 May with a kick-off time of 7.35pm.

Leinster host the Sharks at the Aviva Stadium at 5pm on Saturday, 6 May.

That match will be shown live on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player. It will be the Sharks' second trip to the Irish capital this season having taken part in a thrilling 88-point encounter back in October.

Also live on RTÉ is Munster's clash with on Glasgow Warriors, who make their return to the knockout stage for the first time since 2019. The game will take place at Scotstoun Stadium at 7.35pm.

The Saturday action begin in Cape Town where defending champions, DHL Stormers take on their South African rivals, Vodacom Bulls, in a rematch of last season's URC final.

The game at DHL Stadium is scheduled to get underway at 2.30pm Irish time.

Semi-final details were also confirmed. They will take place on the weekend of 12/13 May and there is the prospect of a Leinster v Munster clash.

The winner of Leinster and Sharks take on either Glasgow or Munster, while the other semi-final will be an Ireland v South Africa contest as either Ulster or Connacht taken on the Stormers or the Bulls.

In a change to last season's rules, the teams with the highest seeding in each semi-final will have home venue rights.

The semi-final winners will meet on Saturday 27 May at the venue of the highest-ranked team to have qualified for the Grand Final.

It's time to rise together to support your BKT URC Quarter-Finalists
