Deliveroo customers can't believe they can buy from unexpected shop on app

Brits have been 'roaring' with laughter after finding an unexpected company listed on Deliveroo.

First launched in 2013, the delivery giant has become an essential part of many households' weekends – allowing Brits to order their favourite takeaway with a click of a button. Operating in more than 200 cities and towns across the UK, Deliveroo's original mission was to bring 'the food you love, straight to your door'.

But it seems the brand, created by Will Shu and Greg Orlowski, has now ventured beyond food-based companies...

TikTok user Sam Damerell has gone viral after discovering that trade tool makers Screwfix are now on Deliveroo.

"I would say Trump nearly being assassinated is probably one of the biggest news stories of recent times," he said. "But I'm about to reveal close second: Screwfix is on Deliveroo.

"[This] totally changes the landscape of of DIY wholesalers. No longer are just tradies gonna be in there, but an 'Emilio' who 'needs silicone now' will also be in there demanding materials. Amazing."

Swathes of tickled viewers flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts - with many hailing the move as 'genius' and 'life-changing'. "Filing this right under 'things I didn't know I needed but now can't live without'," raved one user.

Another agreed, commenting: "What a time to be alive," while a third added: "I am roaring HAHAHAHHAHAHA." Even Screwfix themselves chipped in on the banter, stating: "Second to none! The most nut-ritious order you'll make this week!"
