Declan Rice urged to join Man City as Bernardo Silva transfer concern raised

Former England midfielder Danny Murphy has advised Declan Rice to turn down advances from Arsenal this summer and seal a move to City. The Blues, according to widespread reports, are plotting a formal offer for the West Ham United captain, who has been identified as Arsenal's top midfield target.

The Gunners have already seen two bids for the 24-year-old rejected, including a club-record offer. City, as reported by the Manchester Evening News last week, have been exploring the possibility of making a move for the England midfielder.

And in the event of City lodging a formal bid, Murphy believes Rice should jump at the opportunity to seal a move to M11, describing the prospect of joining the Premier League champions a "no-brainer". West Ham are understood to be holding out for around £100million.
