David Prutton shares score prediction for Cardiff City’s clash with Birmingham City

Cardiff City will be looking to get back on track in the Championship tomorrow when they face Birmingham City.

Since securing a 2-1 victory over Reading earlier this month, the Bluebirds have experienced a concerning dip in form.

Defeats to Hull City, Luton Town, Sheffield United and Middlesbrough has resulted in Cardiff slipping to 19th in the league standings.

Whereas manager Steve Morison may have already started to focus on potential incomings ahead of the upcoming transfer window, he will still be hoping that his side can end the current campaign on a positive note by delivering the goods in their two remaining fixtures.

Birmingham have also embarked on a poor run in the second-tier in recent weeks.

The Blues halted a run of three consecutive defeats by sealing a point in their meeting with Millwall last weekend.

Lee Bowyer’s side were seemingly on course to secure victory in this aforementioned fixture before Benik Afobe scored an equaliser in stoppage-time.

Ahead of Cardiff’s meeting with Birmingham, pundit David Prutton has shared a score prediction.

In his latest Sky Sports column, Prutton has admitted that he believes that Saturday’s fixture at the Cardiff City Stadium will end in a 0-0 draw.

The Verdict

For the fans who are set to be in attendance tomorrow, they will be hoping that Prutton’s prediction turns out to be incorrect as the last thing that they will want to see is a stalemate.

Birmingham will enter this clash with a point to prove following their most recent away league fixture as they suffered an embarrassing 6-1 defeat at the hands of Blackpool.

As for Cardiff, they will need their attacking players to step up to the mark if they are to have any chance of sealing victory in front of their own
