David Haye has made his prediction for Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte

Heading into the heavyweight showdown on April 23, many have had their say on who will win the main event between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte.

David Haye, maybe unsurprisingly, believes that Whyte will shock the world and knock Fury out.

Over the last few years, Haye has been quick to go against his British counterpart and pick Deontay Wilder every time the pair fought.

Despite being impressed by Fury’s last two performances against Wilder, he is confident in his prediction for the Wembley clash.

Haye was supposed to fight The Gypsy King back in 2013, however, the pair would never go face-to-face.

Now a pundit for BT Sport, Haye has also sparred with Whyte and believes that the fight with Fury will be an “all-out slugfest from the first bell.”

The former cruiserweight and heavyweight champion believes that Whyte’s long arms and his reach could pay dividends on April 23.

Speaking to Boxing Social, Haye said: “If I had a pound, I’d put it on Dillian Whyte for the upset. Yeah, I’m going with Dillian with the massive, massive upset.

“We had an upset with Anthony Joshua (against Oleksandr Usyk). It happens, crazy stuff happens. And in the heavyweight division, when you think you have things figured out, something crazy happens. And someone crazy is Dillian Whyte, and the fact that he’s not interested in doing any promotion, all he wants to do is get in the ring and fight, I think that’s a positive.”

Despite being wrong many times before, Haye is confident in his prediction for the upcoming heavyweight bout.
