Cross-play is something that FIFA players have been desperately wanting for some time now. The divide between XBOX and PlayStation has meant that for years gone by players were unable to take each other on and prove who was the better FIFA player once and for all.

Now players will be able to connect no matter what the device, which is a really big step forward for the franchise. But as previously mentioned, a leak has suggested that cross-play codes have been added to FIFA 22, so we could be seeing this revolutionary development sooner than we think.
