Daniel Radcliffe praised as he shuts down Susanna Reid's question on ITV Good Morning Britain

Good Morning Britain viewers were quick to praise Daniel Radcliffe as he quickly shut down a question from Susanna Reid. The actor was on the ITV news programme to chat about his new movie, The Lost City, which also stars Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum.

Daniel, who is still very much known for his role in the Harry Potter franchise, stars as Abigail Fairfax in the new film, an eccentric billionaire and international criminal who kidnaps Loretta Sage, played by Sandra, in order to find the lost city, on which her novel is based.

But while chatting about his new movie role and even how Sandra had asked Daniel for his autograph for her sister because she is a huge Harry Potter fan, the 32-year-old was asked about the incident which has overshadowed this year's Oscars ceremony when Will Smith walked onto the stage and slapped comedian Chris Rock before he presented an award after making a joke about the actor's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

The Good Morning Britain hosts had earlier been discussing the latest on the fallout from the altercation that happened during the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday before Smith picked up his first Oscar for his role in King Richard.

Rock has made a comment on the situation during his latest stand-up gig, admitting he was "still processing" what had happened but will talk about it "at some point". He referenced the incident at a stand-up show and promised that when he did comment officially it would be "serious and funny".
