Daniel Cormier was told off for bringing Jake Paul into a conversation about Anderson Silva during the UFC 274 broadcast.

Paul has made a remarkable splash in the boxing world having won five professional fights and has confirmed his return to the ring on August 13 with UFC legend Silva among his potential opponents. The Brazilian has also ventured into the ring and will feature on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather's exhibition bout against Don Moore next weekend.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Cormier was on commentary alongside Jon Anik and analyst Joe Rogan for the UFC 274 event headlined by Charles Oliveira's victory over Justin Gaethje on Saturday night. And while calling Ovince Saint Preux's points win over Shogun Rua, Rogan said: "It's kind of amazing when you see guys like him [Shogun Rua] who have been in the game for so long and still have the incredible desire to compete at the highest level." Cormier remarked: "Even Anderson; what Anderson is doing in boxing now, right?

"There's just so much fight left in him that he went and pursued it in a a different sport? And beats Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, former world champion. You notice Jake Paul is not calling out Anderson Silva?" Rogan quickly fired back in an abrupt tone: "None of that, please."
