Dan Walker sent messages as glaring error appears during Dancing on Ice's Siva Kaneswaran's tearful interview about Tom Parker

Dan Walker found himself being sent message from viewers of Channel 5 News after they spotted a glaring error while he spoke to The Wanted star Siva Kaneswaran. The singer appeared on the programme on Tuesday (March 14) and spoke about his recent stint on Dancing on Ice.

Siva just missed out on a place in the final of the ITV skating competition after performing a tear-jerking routine in memory of his late bandmate Tom Parker. He paid a poignant tribute to his friend as the year anniversary of his death approaches. Tom, who shot to fame as one-fifth of pop boyband The Wanted alongside Siva, passed away on March 30, 2022, after being diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma in 2020.

Siva skated to The Wanted's soaring hit Gold Forever, Tom's Version, which was re-released following Tom's death and also played at his funeral. And he explained in a VT clip that the performance was even more poignant because he would be skating out to the opening lines performed by Tom, from Bolton, who died aged 33.

A tearful Siva then continued: "It was beautiful because I just wanted to deliver a nice performance for him and a nice memory for his wife and kids. When his voice started [in the song Siva skated to], if you look at the opening scene, I’m
